Valorant: Reading the space

A default that finds a pick beats a hero dash through unsmoked space. Tactical bomb mode with agents, utility, and precise gunplay. This page stays on reading the space so you can use it in the next session.

Reading the space

Site executes, retakes, and flank timing. The map is doing more work than your hotkeys.

On eco, take space that is free. Do not donate a rifle for a plus-one.

Call the spike, then the lurk, then the swing. Reverse that order and you stagger.

Keep the focus on default rounds, post-plant, and crosshair placement. If the first two minutes are messy, reset before you stack another fight.

High ground and cover

Utility dump without info, and swinging without a trade partner.

Smoke the angle that actually gets used, not the one that looks cinematic.

When the space is bad, leave. Valorant punishes people who stay because they already spent ammo.

A simple rule: 1. On eco, take space that is free. Do not donate a rifle for a plus-one. 2. Call the spike, then the lurk, then the swing. Reverse that order and you stagger. 3. Smoke the angle that actually gets used, not the one that looks cinematic.

Bad peeks

The usual Valorant mistakes are Flanking every round so your team never has a trade.; Saving a star player while the spike is ticking in their face.; Re-peeking the same angle after you already got tagged..

Patch days change timings. Recheck your drop, extract, site, or loadout before you copy last week’s VOD.

If you only remember one thing: default rounds, post-plant, and crosshair placement.
