Economy and resources

High ground and choke points. Staggering loses fights. If you cannot reset, you cannot take the next fight.

Group after a pick. The next fight starts when everyone is back.

Play the objective when the payload is the win condition, not the side room.

Keep the focus on target priority, grouping, and not overextending off cooldown. If the first two minutes are messy, reset before you stack another fight.

Staying alive between fights

Ult economy and feeding one at a time.

Do not dump six ultimates into a lost fight because chat is loud.

When the space is bad, leave. Overwatch punishes people who stay because they already spent ammo.

A simple rule: 1. Group after a pick. The next fight starts when everyone is back. 2. Play the objective when the payload is the win condition, not the side room. 3. Do not dump six ultimates into a lost fight because chat is loud.

When to reset

The usual Overwatch mistakes are Trickling in after a lost fight.; Diving the backline with no peel plan.; Using trans or beat with nobody to follow up..

Patch days change timings. Recheck your drop, extract, site, or loadout before you copy last week’s VOD.

If you only remember one thing: target priority, grouping, and not overextending off cooldown.
