Overwatch
Overwatch: After a patch
If your tank is dead, you are not in a 5v6 brawl. You are waiting. Objective fights with roles, ultimates, and cooldown trades. This page stays on after a patch so you can use it in the next session.
After a patch
High ground and choke points. Staggering loses fights. Patch day punishes autopilot more than new players.
Off-angle only if someone can trade you. Solo off-angle is farm.
Do not dump six ultimates into a lost fight because chat is loud.
Keep the focus on target priority, grouping, and not overextending off cooldown. If the first two minutes are messy, reset before you stack another fight.
What to re-learn first
Ult economy and feeding one at a time.
Track two enemy ultimates. That is enough to stop a panic hold.
When the space is bad, leave. Overwatch punishes people who stay because they already spent ammo.
A simple rule: 1. Off-angle only if someone can trade you. Solo off-angle is farm. 2. Do not dump six ultimates into a lost fight because chat is loud. 3. Track two enemy ultimates. That is enough to stop a panic hold.
Do not copy last season blindly
The usual Overwatch mistakes are Contesting a point 1v5 for the statistic.; Diving the backline with no peel plan.; Using trans or beat with nobody to follow up..
Patch days change timings. Recheck your drop, extract, site, or loadout before you copy last week’s VOD.
If you only remember one thing: target priority, grouping, and not overextending off cooldown.
