Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2: Economy and resources

Overwatch 2 is 5v5. There is less peel. Your stagger is louder. 5v5 role queue with faster fights and stronger individual impact. This page stays on economy and resources so you can use it in the next session.

Economy and resources

Same maps, less peel. Supports and tanks feel every stagger. If you cannot reset, you cannot take the next fight.

Save mobility for the disengage, not only the engage clip.

Off-angles work if your tank still has space. Otherwise you are splitting.

Keep the focus on cooldown tracking, grouping after a pick, and off-angles. If the first two minutes are messy, reset before you stack another fight.

Staying alive between fights

Solo-swinging a lost fight. Ultimate waste on a lost teamfight.

Call the support who is actually carrying, not the one who is easiest to shoot.

When the space is bad, leave. Overwatch 2 punishes people who stay because they already spent ammo.

A simple rule: 1. Save mobility for the disengage, not only the engage clip. 2. Off-angles work if your tank still has space. Otherwise you are splitting. 3. Call the support who is actually carrying, not the one who is easiest to shoot.

When to reset

The usual Overwatch 2 mistakes are Flaming the tank in voice instead of grouping.; Solo walking main after a lost fight.; Diving without the tank knowing..

Patch days change timings. Recheck your drop, extract, site, or loadout before you copy last week’s VOD.

If you only remember one thing: cooldown tracking, grouping after a pick, and off-angles.
