Mecha BREAK
Mecha BREAK: Routes and timing
If you overcommit a lock, you eat the focus fire. Mech PvP with boost management, lock-on windows, and cover. This page stays on routes and timing so you can use it in the next session.
Routes and timing
Open arenas plus hard cover. Boosting in the open is a gift. Most wipes are late rotations, not bad aim.
Save a dash for the disengage after you dump damage.
Reload in cover. Reload in the open is a timer for them.
Keep the focus on boost economy, cover, and not overcommitting a lock. If the first two minutes are messy, reset before you stack another fight.
When to leave a fight
Heat, ammo, and being focused after a bad dash.
If two mechs look at you, you are the farm. Leave.
When the space is bad, leave. Mecha BREAK punishes people who stay because they already spent ammo.
A simple rule: 1. Save a dash for the disengage after you dump damage. 2. Reload in cover. Reload in the open is a timer for them. 3. If two mechs look at you, you are the farm. Leave.
Greed patterns
The usual Mecha BREAK mistakes are Emptying boost on a missed lock.; Ignoring heat until you stall in the open.; Chasing a low mech into their team’s sightline..
Patch days change timings. Recheck your drop, extract, site, or loadout before you copy last week’s VOD.
If you only remember one thing: boost economy, cover, and not overcommitting a lock.
