League of Legends
League of Legends: Playing the objective
If you chase past your wave, you are donating a shutdown. Lane into jungle tracking into objective control. This page stays on playing the objective so you can use it in the next session.
Playing the objective
River, jungle camps, and sidelane waves create the real map. Kills are optional. The objective is not.
Shove or hold on purpose. Accidental waves lose towers.
If your team wins a fight, take the objective that is up, not the next random kill.
Keep the focus on vision, tempo, and not chasing past your wave. If the first two minutes are messy, reset before you stack another fight.
Clock and extracts
Ganks, wave states, and throwing a won fight for one more plate.
Do not take a 4v5 for one plate. The plate is not Baron.
When the space is bad, leave. League of Legends punishes people who stay because they already spent ammo.
A simple rule: 1. Shove or hold on purpose. Accidental waves lose towers. 2. If your team wins a fight, take the objective that is up, not the next random kill. 3. Do not take a 4v5 for one plate. The plate is not Baron.
Side quests that lose the round
The usual League of Legends mistakes are Arguing in chat instead of catching the side wave.; Starting Baron with no vision and three people missing.; Chasing into fog after a won teamfight..
Patch days change timings. Recheck your drop, extract, site, or loadout before you copy last week’s VOD.
