Escape from Tarkov

Escape from Tarkov: Playing the objective

Audio is the map. Stairwells and metal floors tell on you before you see anyone. Hardcore extraction raids with gear fear, audio, and tight CQB. This page stays on playing the objective so you can use it in the next session.

Playing the objective

Interiors, stairwells, and extract camps are the real map. Kills are optional. The objective is not.

If you hear a bush and a bolt, you are not alone. Stop sprinting.

Insurance is not a plan. Extracting with a mid kit is.

Keep the focus on audio, peek discipline, and extract planning. If the first two minutes are messy, reset before you stack another fight.

Clock and extracts

Players, scavs, and your own noise. One peek can end a kit.

Heal in cover, not in a doorway. Surgery in a hallway is a highlight for someone else.

When the space is bad, leave. Escape from Tarkov punishes people who stay because they already spent ammo.

A simple rule: 1. If you hear a bush and a bolt, you are not alone. Stop sprinting. 2. Insurance is not a plan. Extracting with a mid kit is. 3. Heal in cover, not in a doorway. Surgery in a hallway is a highlight for someone else.

Side quests that lose the round

The usual Escape from Tarkov mistakes are Looting a body in the open after a loud spray.; Running Factory like it is a deathmatch with no extract timer.; Bringing a fat pack into a map you have not learned the extracts for..

Patch days change timings. Recheck your drop, extract, site, or loadout before you copy last week’s VOD.

If you only remember one thing: audio, peek discipline, and extract planning.
