Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight: Routes and timing

A pallet wasted early is a dead teammate later. Asymmetric chases: four survivors repair, one killer hunts. This page stays on routes and timing so you can use it in the next session.

Routes and timing

Loops, windows, and pallet lines decide whether a chase is free. Most wipes are late rotations, not bad aim.

Call or ping scratch marks only if your team actually looks.

Leave a loop that is already burned. Ego looping is how you donate bloodpoints.

Keep the focus on mindgames, totem awareness, and when to leave a loop. If the first two minutes are messy, reset before you stack another fight.

When to leave a fight

Info denial and bad unhooks lose games faster than raw aim.

As killer, break three-gen setups before the last two generators.

When the space is bad, leave. Dead by Daylight punishes people who stay because they already spent ammo.

A simple rule: 1. Call or ping scratch marks only if your team actually looks. 2. Leave a loop that is already burned. Ego looping is how you donate bloodpoints. 3. As killer, break three-gen setups before the last two generators.

Greed patterns

The usual Dead by Daylight mistakes are Unhooking in the killer’s face with no trade.; Dropping every pallet on the first lunge.; Cleaning totems while a teammate is on first hook and nobody is on gens..

Patch days change timings. Recheck your drop, extract, site, or loadout before you copy last week’s VOD.

If you only remember one thing: mindgames, totem awareness, and when to leave a loop.
