Arc Raiders
Arc Raiders: Playing the objective
Play Arc Raiders like a heist. The bag is the score. The kill feed is optional. PvPvE raids on a ruined Earth. Extract loot while other raiders contest the same rooms. This page stays on playing the objective so you can use it in the next session.
Playing the objective
Facilities, rust belts, and vertical shafts punish loud movement. Kills are optional. The objective is not.
Listen for patrol cadence, then players. Mixing those two sounds is how you peek the wrong threat.
Vertical shafts and rust facilities carry footsteps farther than open dirt.
Keep the focus on sound, extract timing, and whether a fight is worth the bag. If the first two minutes are messy, reset before you stack another fight.
Clock and extracts
Players, patrols, and the clock stack. Gunfire calls third parties.
Drop junk before you fight. Weight changes how long you can reset.
When the space is bad, leave. Arc Raiders punishes people who stay because they already spent ammo.
A simple rule: 1. Listen for patrol cadence, then players. Mixing those two sounds is how you peek the wrong threat. 2. Vertical shafts and rust facilities carry footsteps farther than open dirt. 3. Drop junk before you fight. Weight changes how long you can reset.
Side quests that lose the round
The usual Arc Raiders mistakes are Looting in the open after a loud fight.; Chasing a downed raider past your extract window.; Sprinting every hallway because the map feels empty..
Patch days change timings. Recheck your drop, extract, site, or loadout before you copy last week’s VOD.
If you only remember one thing: sound, extract timing, and whether a fight is worth the bag.
